Valmet is including a new flow control solutions service centre in Antofagasta, Chile, increasing its providing to the mining and metals business.
The Antofagasta service centre begins working this month.
The new Antofagasta service centre will provide a full range of flow control companies, including the substitute and maintenance of valves, pumps and third-party equipment. It will allow agile delivery of important spare and wear parts as well as digital instruments and providers for the entire product and plants cycle. The service centre may also serve as a buyer training facility.
The Valmet portfolio for mining, metals and steel includes the Neles, Jamesbury, Neles Easyflow and Flowrox manufacturers.

“Over the years, we’ve systematically expanded our move management installed base and resolution providing for the mining and metals trade in the region,” says Fabio Maia, head of the South & Central America Area at Valmet’s Flow Control enterprise line. “The new facility allows us to better reply to the rising demand for customer support as nicely as drive our enlargement in minerals processing. From Antofagasta, our service teams will be near customer operations in Chile and in Peru.”
Valmet has 40 flow management service centres worldwide.
